Wednesday Night Drop-In is a welcoming, community-centered program whose goal is to provide a safe and accepting setting for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities ages 16 and above to socialize and enjoy themselves.

Animal Demonstration Night at Drop-In
Drop-In takes place at Grace Episcopal Church in Newton Corner, MA; NWW and the church community have enjoyed a wonderful working relationship for several decades. Drop-In sessions take place on Wednesday evenings, from 7:00 to 8:30 pm, September through June. NWW's staff supervises the weekly events, which include bingo, dances, special dinners and an annual dog show. Drop-In is also a great setting for volunteers. Drop-In volunteers include college students, youth groups, outreach groups from communities of faith, and individuals and families from the community.
Funding is provided by a Community Development Block Grant from the City of Newton and by private donations (both financial and in-kind). These donations make the program affordable for the participants, who pay $5 per session. All donations are tax-deductible.
