Over the past four years NWW
has successfully operated seven homes in Newton and one home in
Wellesley, Massachusetts. Six of the homes provide 24-hour staffing in support of
the individuals living there. As
the number of residents living in each home varies from two to six
people so, too, does the gender, age and ability level of those involved
in these group living experiences.
NWW provides safe and
comfortable housing and a cadre of dedicated professionals to support
individuals in maximizing their life experiences and achieving their
individual goals. All individuals participate in a day activity, supported work
program or are competitively employed.
In addition, each home includes a vehicle to transport
individuals to
medical appointments and a variety of leisure and recreational
activities throughout the greater Boston area.
